Does weather play a factor in skydiving?

Weather is a huge factor, and before your skydive you should be checking our twitter, facebook, and web page updates. If you still have questions on the conditions for the day, be sure to call before you come out. Any weather related setbacks will allow you another time of your choosing to come back and try again. Call Cathy for any updates on the day of your skydive.

Do you get the roller coaster "puke" sensation?

No. Well kind of. Upon exiting the plane your kinetic energy shifts from the horizontal plane to a vertical one, thus you don't get that stomach turning falling sensation. When opening the parachute you are rapidly decelerating, so you may experience a slight bit of discomfort, but this is uncommon.

Are there any weight or height restrictions?

Seeing as we do use equipment to stop people from plummeting towards the planet the equiptment does have restrictions. Anyone over 220 pounds will have to pay a $2 per pound surcharge as it requires more wear and tear on our equipment. Because of limitations on the equipment anyone over 250 pounds may possibly have to look into our AFF program as an option, but call and we will work something out. Height restrictions are simple, if you can fit into the equiptment you can go. Basically, 4'10" to 6'10" will generally be able to experience a tandem skydive.
